Dwarven centurion Armor
Centurions are large mechanical guardians found in Dwemer ruins. Made from solid Dwemer blocks and armored with thick dwarven plates, their arms are equipped with a warhammer and battleaxe for combat.
They move slowly, but are capable of taking a lot of damage and using powerful attacks. Therefore, they pose a formidable threat to low-level players.
Steam-Breath (Recharge 5-7): The Dwarven Centurion shoots hot steam at a 15 foot cone, dealing 38 (7d10) fire damage on successful hits or half that amount on failed ones. Creatures within the cone must make an Agility Saving throw of DC 17 or suffer the consequences.
Dwarven Centurion Armor
A Dwarven Centurion’s heavy armor provides them with protection from melee attacks and spells/magic. Plus, they have the advantage of saving against spells and magical effects with a bonus save. Plus, they have the dwarven shield bash which can be used to easily knock down an opponent.
Dwarven Centurion Weapons
The Dwarven Centurion is one of the largest automatons, boasting a heavily armored body designed for combat. They carry powerful weapons and shoot hot steam at their opponents.
Dragonborn characters should be wary of these mechanical guardians that lurk in many Dwarven ruins outside Vvardenfell. These enormous automatons often spawn behind walls or other barriers, making it difficult to get close enough for attack.
If you can’t sneak up on a Dwarven Centurion, there’s still hope: strike from the side. A high Sneak skill will keep you undetected, but be prepared for them to swarm you if necessary.
A Centurion can also be defeated by firing arrows or Destruction spells at them while sprinting away at regular intervals. While this method may be slow, it does deal a substantial amount of damage.
Dwarven Centurion Spells
The dwarven centurion is one of the most dangerous creatures in Dwemer ruins. These towering mechanical guardians are constructed out of solid Dwemer blocks and armored with thick dwarven plates for protection.
They possess incredible strength. Their melee attack is a devastating hammer that deals 25 (3d10+10) bludgeoning damage and knocks the target prone.
When a Centurion attacks, they lift their shoulders and shoot hot steam from around their head. This is an effective way to deal damage to enemies; however, be mindful that while spraying steam, the Centurion cannot turn around; be wary not to get too close or you could find yourself in potentially hazardous circumstances.
These automatons can be found in Dwarven ruins throughout Skyrim and Solstheim. In addition to melee and steam attacks, they also possess an attack that deals fire damage.
Health
Centurions are some of Skyrim’s most formidable enemies, standing twice as tall as an average Dragonborn. They can attack with melee weapons or by exhaling steam from their mouths.
They are resistant to most magic and ranged attacks, with a 25% resistance to shock. Furthermore, they are immune to frost and poison.
Their only ranged attack is their steam attack, which can be avoided by staying out of its range. However, keep in mind that it has the potential to pass through doors and damage Dragonborn on the other side.
Blocking and Heavy Armor skills can easily overcome their steam attack without expending much magicka. Fire magic however, works better against them due to its resistance to magic effects.
